# Fix or reorganise an existing setup

If your Corey folder is messy or was never set up properly, ask Corey to reorganise it. Corey checks what's there, additively creates any missing structure, proposes moving loose files into place (and asks before touching them), and rebuilds its record of what it knows and what's still missing. It never overwrites your files.

## FAQ
Q: Will reorganising overwrite or delete my files?
A: No. The reorganiser is additive and non-destructive. It freely creates anything that's missing, but it only ever moves or renames an existing file after showing you the proposed change and getting your yes. It never overwrites a file you already have.

Q: When should I use this instead of onboarding?
A: Use onboarding for a brand-new, empty folder. Use reorganise when a folder already has content but no proper structure - for example if Corey started working in it before it was set up, so there's no CLAUDE.md, no front door, and notes are scattered around.

Q: What is the context ledger it rebuilds?
A: A file (memory/_maturity.md) where Corey tracks what it knows about you and your business versus what's still missing - things like your company legal name, VAT registration and accounting period. Rebuilding it after a tidy-up means Corey can see the gaps again and offer to fill them.
