Corey is an AI co-founder that runs inside Claude and does the recurring work of a small company: the morning brief, the books and the VAT, the invoices nobody has paid, the marketing, the website and the plan. Each job below names the skills that do it and links to a guide that shows the whole conversation. All of it is free for individuals.
Run the day
The recurring work that keeps a one-person company upright: knowing what is due, clearing what came in, and writing down what happened so tomorrow starts from somewhere.
A morning brief, every morning
What is due today, what came in overnight, what is overdue and the one thing worth doing first. Set it once and it runs on a schedule.
Skills: morning brief, keep on track, gmail triage, daily update
The books, the tax and the cash. Corey does the preparation and shows its working; you, or your accountant, sign it off. The method comes from the finance packs and the UK guides, and it is reference, not advice.
Bookkeeping
Categorise and reconcile transactions, find the duplicate and the forgotten subscription, and keep the records in a state an accountant will thank you for.
Getting found and getting customers, done on a schedule rather than in bursts. The marketing and sales packs supply the method; the skills turn it into weekly work.
A marketing plan you will actually run
Where your buyers are, what to say to them, the content to make and the schedule that survives a busy month, then the weekly drafting itself.
Skills: weekly content loop, blog post, linkedin post, keyword research
A tight spec and a first version worth shipping, built on a stack Corey knows to the level of limits and pricing, and checked before it is called done.
You ask in plain English, inside Claude. Corey works out which skill fits, reads the knowledge packs the job touches, and does the work in your own folder and the tools you have connected. It remembers your business between sessions, so the second VAT return starts from the first one rather than from a blank page. Anything public, costly or irreversible - sending, paying, publishing, deleting - waits for your yes.
The knowledge is the part a plain chat does not have. There are 53 packs across 5 departments, from finance (15), marketing (11), sales (2), operations (20) and running corey (5), each sourced and dated. The full list is on the knowledge base page.
What it needs, and what it will not do
Corey needs Claude Pro, or Cursor on its free tier, an empty folder to work in, and whichever of your tools you want it to reach. It will not file anything with HMRC, pay anyone or publish anything on its own, and it will not pretend a reference pack is professional advice: for tax, legal and regulated decisions it does the preparation and tells you what to check with an adviser. If it cannot do something you ask for, it says so, and the gap is reported so it can be fixed.
Questions
The recurring work of running a small company: a morning brief, bookkeeping and VAT preparation, chasing invoices, a marketing plan and the weekly content, a website, a business plan and the product itself. Corey does the work and asks before anything public, costly or irreversible.
An assistant answers when you ask. An agent does the work: it reads your files and accounts through the tools you connect, runs a job from start to finish, and can run it again on a schedule. Corey is the agent kind, with you approving the steps that matter.
Claude Pro (or Cursor on its free tier), an empty folder for Corey to work in, and whichever of your tools you want it to reach, such as your accounting software or your inbox. Adding Corey takes about two minutes.
No. Corey is free for individuals. Teams and companies pay for setup, running and custom builds, at a price agreed up front.
