Privacy Policy

How Corey collects, uses and protects your data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use Corey (the "Service") and the website at getcorey.ai. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where it applies to you, the EU GDPR.

1. Who we are

Corey is operated by Presso Network Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11569104), with our registered office at 404, 3 Friars Walk, Reading RG1 1JB, Berkshire, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZA548570.

2. Scope

This policy covers:

  • the Corey website and any forms or sign-ups on it;
  • your Corey account and subscription, including the connector you add inside Claude Desktop or the CLI; and
  • our handling of support correspondence.

It does not cover Anthropic's Claude products, Stripe, or any third-party tools you connect to Corey. Those services process your data under their own privacy policies (see section 7).

3. What we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account and identity data - the email address and any name you provide when you create a Corey account and sign in to the connector.
  • Subscription and billing data - your plan, billing status, and transaction records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not collect or store your full card details.
  • Usage and operational data - logs needed to run and secure the Service, such as authentication events, connection metadata, IP address, error and diagnostic logs, and timestamps.
  • Support correspondence - the content of emails or messages you send us.
  • Website data - basic analytics and any cookies described in section 9.

4. What stays on your computer

Corey works from a folder you choose on your own device. Your business knowledge, project files and the work Corey produces are stored as plain files in that folder. We do not store your work files or business content on Corey servers. When Corey runs, the specific request you make is sent to our connector at mcp.getcorey.ai to route and authorise it; we do not retain your work content there beyond what is needed to serve that request.

5. How we use your data and our lawful bases

  • To provide the Service (create and authenticate your account, run the connector, deliver support) - lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To take payment and manage subscriptions - lawful basis: performance of a contract and compliance with a legal obligation (for example, tax and accounting records).
  • To secure, maintain and improve the Service (diagnostics, abuse prevention, service analytics) - lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a reliable, secure product.
  • To send service and, where you have opted in, marketing messages - lawful basis: legitimate interests for service messages and consent for marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal data, and Presso Network Ltd does not use the content of your work to train AI models. Corey runs inside Anthropic's Claude; Anthropic processes your conversations under its own terms, which govern any training on its side.

7. Third parties and sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Corey, and only as far as needed. Each acts under a contract that requires it to protect your data. Our main sub-processors are:

  • Anthropic - Corey runs inside Claude. Your conversations with Claude are processed by Anthropic under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Stripe - payments and billing.
  • WorkOS - sign-in and account authentication.
  • Cloudflare - DNS, CDN, image storage, and hosting of the mcp.getcorey.ai connector on Cloudflare Workers.
  • Render - website hosting.
  • Resend - transactional and account email.
  • Formspree - processes the name, email and message you submit via the contact form.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business sale or reorganisation.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK or EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website does not currently use third-party analytics or tracking cookies. We set only essential cookies needed for the site to function.

10. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. We keep operational logs for 12 months; account and subscription data for the life of your account (then deleted or anonymised); and financial records for up to 6 years to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

11. Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to our processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it; and
  • complain to a supervisory authority - in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

12. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secret management. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authority of a qualifying breach as required by law.

13. Children

Corey is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give you notice by email or in the Service.
