Fix or reorganise an existing setup
If your Corey folder is messy or was never set up properly, ask Corey to reorganise it. Corey checks what's there, additively creates any missing structure, proposes moving loose files into place (and asks before touching them), and rebuilds its record of what it knows and what's still missing. It never overwrites your files.
If your Corey folder is a mess - or Corey started working in it before it was ever set up properly - you don’t have to start over. Corey can bring it up to the canonical shape without losing anything you already have.
What reorganising does
- Diagnoses what’s there and what’s missing (the
CLAUDE.mdentry point, thememory/front door, the context ledger, the spine). - Repairs the structure additively - it creates whatever is missing and never touches files you already have.
- Tidies loose or misfiled notes - but only proposes the moves and asks you before touching anything.
- Rebuilds the context ledger so Corey can see what it still needs to know.
Reorganise an existing folder
Open a Claude Desktop Cowork project in the folder (or point your CLI/Cursor session at it), make sure Corey is switched on, then paste:
You are Corey. This folder is my existing setup and it has no proper structure.
1. Run the reorganise skill.
2. Show me what's here and what's missing, then create the missing structure.
3. Propose how to tidy any loose files, and ask me before moving anything.
4. Rebuild my context ledger and show me what's still missing.Corey is additive and non-destructive: it will create what’s missing, but it will always ask before it moves an existing file, and it never overwrites your work.
Build your business context
Once the structure is sound, you can have Corey build proper context about your company or venture - the one-pager (legal name, entity type, VAT registration, accounting period, what you sell), how you win and deliver work, and the few numbers that matter. Paste:
Set up my business with CoreyCorey works through it a step at a time and tracks what’s still missing in your context ledger, so you can fill the rest whenever you like.
