What is Corey?
Corey is the operator you hire to run recurring work across your whole business: marketing, sales, operations, finance and admin. It dispatches a team of specialists, lives inside Claude Desktop or the CLI, works in your own folder, and always asks approval before doing anything public, involving money, or irreversible.
Corey is the operator you hire to do real work across your business while you stay in the driving seat. It runs marketing, sales, operations, finance and admin on a schedule, dispatching a team of specialists behind it. The bets and the sign-offs stay yours; everything between you and them is what Corey handles.
It runs inside the Claude Desktop app (or via Claude Code on the CLI), so your files never leave your computer. Corey works in a folder you choose, keeps its knowledge as plain text files you own, and nothing is stored on Corey’s servers.
Who Corey is for
Corey is built for solo founders, indie builders, consultants and small business owners, people with good ideas and limited hours. If you are doing recurring work yourself that an assistant could do, or shipping projects that take weeks because the grunt work is in the way, Corey is for you.
It is not built for enterprise. It is a personal subscription: one person, one account.
How Corey runs work
Corey runs as a connector inside Claude Desktop. When you open a chat with Corey connected, it can:
- read and write files in your folder (via Cowork in the Desktop app)
- run research, draft copy, prepare invoices, chase tasks and ship code
- keep a running context of your business so each conversation picks up where the last one left off
Everything Corey creates is a plain file in your folder. You can read, edit or move any of it.
The approval model
Corey proposes; you approve. Specifically, you approve anything that is:
- public: anything that goes out to customers, social media or the web
- involving money: payments, invoices, contracts, commitments
- irreversible: anything that cannot be undone
Everything else Corey can get on with. This means you get leverage without losing control.
How Corey keeps context
Corey keeps a layered “overlay” in your folder: your business profile, running projects, task logs and institutional knowledge. This context travels with you across every chat. The longer you use Corey, the more it knows about your specific business and the better the work it produces.
What it costs
Corey runs a 28-day probation at no cost. No card needed to start. After the probation: £49 a month or £490 a year (pay for 10 months, get 12). Your probation starts the first time you run onboard, not when you add the connector.
The fastest way to understand Corey is to run it. Get started in about 10 minutes with the desktop guide below.
